Learning VVaPS

Welcome to the blog. Thank you for taking time out of your very important schedule to share it with me. I’m honored, excited and optimistic.

What is VVaPS? :

VVaPS is an acronym that stands for Valuable Values and Problem Solving. We have adopted this term as a comprehensive explanation of the learning style we use to assist parents and educators in their journey to establish a foundation with children in early education. We believe that when children are introduced to “valuable values” and problem solving early, they become better decision makers which develops them into being better learners.

What are valuable values?

Valuable Values are moral based standards that keep us aligned with a greater sense of self. These would be things like responsibility, honesty, health; just to name a few. Here at Mommy Museum we have compiled a list of 12 valuable values “goal lessons” that combine with problem solving techniques to incorporate everything we produce.

These goals are:

  1. 1. Responsibility

    2. Decision Making

    3. Socialization

    4. Honesty

    5. Respect

    6. Health

    7. Patience

    8. Confidence

    9. Failure

    10. Time management

    11. Gratitude

    12. Hard Work

Why these goals?

Well, we collectively came to an understanding that fundamentally as people we all want the same things. Have you ever set down and wrote down your standards for yourself. They most likely contain most if not all or more of these goals. We believe that the only difference is the measure of what that goal means to you, and how far you are willing to go to accomplish that goal.

For example: My definition of success may be completely different from yours, and how far I am willing to go to obtain my metrics of success may also be different. With these two variables in mind, that’s where the parents and the child's trusted adults come in.

Our main objective is to introduce these shared ideas to families and children through examples utilizing our characters in a way that resonates with children’s fun active imagination. We help spark the conversation in families. We bring excitement and entertainment to everyday thought provoking positive ideas and values. The rest of the guidance is up to you.

We never want to do two things

  1. Make a family feel judged for their parenting style

  2. Attempt to force our beliefs of how a parent should parent their child

We are here to serve every family by providing an opportunity of enjoying Mommy Museum resources, products, and services together.
